My gifted one...

I have a couple of really 'gifted' intelligent boys.  One is Korean however, he is quite un-Korean in many ways.  One day this week he gave me a great big hug and said, "You're so puffy!"

I was explaining how I have work to do with preparing work and marking books when one of my darling students put her book into the marking tray piled with books and said, "now make sure you get that pile marked before you go to bed tonight!"

Spirit Days

Sorry that I haven't been quite so faithful to post here...

I have the most wonderful 8 students that I love.  They love to learn and love being in 4th grade.  Once in a while we have school spirit days and this month was PIRATE DAY.  Although our class didn't win, I think we did super well.  To win you have to have the most number of student dressed up and two of our class didn't have a costume.  I think I MADE UP FOR THEM... but I guess not the judges.  I even made the kids walk the plank to get into the room.  :)  Here's what we looked like:-
